Toilet Clogs

If your toilet won't flush, there is likely a clog in the system. You can typically dislodge a clog using a plunger. If you don't own one, visit a local hardware or grocery store. You can typically pick one up for a few dollars.

Sink/Shower Clogs

If you sink or shower won't drain properly, there may be hair or other debris in the drain. You can try to clean the drain using a drain cleaning tool; a hand auger can also be used for deeper clogs.

Please don't use drain cleaning chemicals as these may damage the plumbing system.

If you lose electrical power...

Call your utility provider to troubleshoot the issue. Billing issues and localized outages are two potential causes of power problems.

If you still need help after speaking to the electrical company, give us a call.

If you don't have enough hot water (or any), locate your water heater and verify that the settings are accurate. If you make any changes to the temperature controls, wait 15 to 20 minutes before testing the water again.

If your heat or air conditioning isn't working as expected, locate the central thermostat in your home. Check that all settings look correct; you may be able to cycle your system off and back on again to restore the system defaults.
